Ferrari, the roar of the red car

Ferrari is the symbol of made in Italy par excellence. And it gives the National car racing field the most exclusive award: the most titled and long-lived stable of Formula 1, in fact it is an Italian reality that can put together technology, tradition, emotions and success. Nowadays it is famous all over the world, it was officially born on September 13, 1939 when Enzo Ferrari set the “Auto Avio Costruzioni”.

The first commissions he got were for the building of components for the aircrafts and only since 1947 the building of cars has became his main activity. The headquarters of the company was in Maranello, in the province of Modena (Emilia Romagna) and its official symbol was the prancing horse that took inspiration from the one used by the airman Francesco Baracca (1888-1918) it was given to Enzo Ferrari by Baracca’s mother in 1923 as a good-luck piece. Since then it has become the symbol of the trademark Ferrari and of the races division. With regard to races: you can be thrilled by emotions and feel the adrenalin at the highest levels if you try the “Ferrari test drive” in Maranello, since you have the chance to drive a Ferrari with an expert pilot on your side. The drive is preceded by a short briefing that can help you to learn how to drive correctly on a Ferrari car.
A couple of curiosities: who are the designers of Ferrari car? They are two famous designers, Pininfarina and Giugiaro, but also Scaglietti, Bertone and Vignale. And which are the engines of Ferrari car? Mainly V8 and V12.
